Great trip, great food, great boat. We took a 5 day trip from Baltimore with Bermuda as the only port of call. The room was clean, the room attendant was very nice, prompt and visited our room to clean up several times a day. The entertainment was top notch with several hysterical comedians and a decent dance/singing show. The food in the main dining room was outstanding and the buffet (for non-dinner) was just as good. In fact, the buffet was so good, the only reason to go to the main dining room for breakfast or lunch was to get wine/beer/mimosas.

There are two reasons that this isn't a 5. Lots of upselling EVERYWHERE (buy this exclusive steak for more than the VERY good strip steak at the Great Gatsby, dine at the chefs table for a LOT more money, come get this massage for more money, buy this beverage package for more money) and the bar service was VERY slow and had inconsistent quality. While the bar service is understandably busy during rush events like right after the abandon ship drill or right after a show, it was also really slow in general due to the fact that the process to charge people for drinks requires each bartender to type in an ID code at the beginning of every transaction (inefficient compared to, say, swiping an ID card) and insufficient supply of bartenders. Additionally, a lot of frozen drinks are ordered and they should probably have at least a single bartender at every bar who serves beer and wine only.

The line to get ON the ship at the Port of Baltimore was horrendous and slow but I do not hold that against Royal Caribbean and it is not part of my overall score. But besides that bit of whining, I would absolutely rebook a trip on this boat, for this itinerary, and with Royal Caribbean again.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D1

Clean, cramped, nice outdoor furniture, cozy balcony good enough for two to read and be comfortable watching the sea.

King's Wharf

Self guided tour. It is very nice there.

King's Wharf

Beautiful downtown but small. Not particular fun to go shopping when your budget is so low. We got Pink Sand Beach necklace for our daughter.
