Having wanted to visit Europe for many years, we wished a trip that would highlight areas of interest in a relaxing picturesque setting. This was a celebration of life: my birthday and our 45th wedding anniversary. Having travelled ocean cruises many times before, this manner of sailing was an opportunity to visit the locations we wished to see, meeting many wonderful people along the way, and not having the stress of making multiple arrangements. Staff were amazing adding to the overall experience. We felt like we were living in a fairytale. Entertainment on the ship and on tours was beyond anything that we've experienced on past travels, engaging participation and enjoyment of all. I can't say enough about the service we were given and the only complaint about the dining was 'too much' and 'too good'. I had the opportunity to experience a massage at the wellness centre to ease my aching muscles and Sisi was magical, enabling me to travel the journey home in comfort. Our cabin was always kept by Cristina immaculately. We were saddened to leave the ship but we have many memories from this trip that will long be remembered as our best journey yet, hoping to experience another memorable journey with Scenic in the future.
