We choose this cruise as an 80th birthday celebration for my father in law. He has Scottish heritage and Scotland was on his bucket list. A cruise made the most sense since we were a family of 12-80yrs of age.

The ship was tired, cabins tiny, theatre and Marketplace had limited seating. Never went to the buffet when there was a table available. We were a party of 11 but went to the buffet in small groups (2-4). the entertainment was poor. The ship's singers/dancers were very good and there was a great pianist that played in the lounges was very good. Oh, and a violinist that performed in the theatre was very good. So, 3 theatre performances out of 12 were good.

Since we were a family, we decided to go for the studio portrait plan. The photo's were disappointing. No better than the photos taken on formal nights. The studio ones were unoriginal.
