We chose this cruise because we found a really good price and since we had previously sailed on Oceania, we knew we would enjoy it.

Embarkation and disembarkation went smoothly. We arrived at the cruise port at about 11:00 and were allowed to board, had a nice lunch, and then got to our rooms about 2:30.

Food was great. We especially enjoyed the food in the specialty restaurants. Oceania allows you to make reservations at all four restaurants for no extra charge. Wait staff was attentive and welcoming.

Port Reviews

Palamos

We took the Three Medieval Villages Tour. The first two villages were great, but the last one was just a city that had been in existence since Medieval times. Nothing to see there.

Florence (Livorno)

We went to Pisa and Lucca on our own. Hired a taxi at the port. Great visits.

Rome (Civitavecchia)

Did this on our own. We took a bus for 19 euros (round trip) to Rome.

Sorrento

On our own, we took a high speed ferry to Capri. The bus line was very long so we took a shared taxi to Anacapri and then the funicular down to Capri. Walked around Sorrento for a short time.
