Had never been to Hawaii and wanted the entire experience without the hassle of island hopping and changing hotels; thought this cruise would fit the bill as well as provide a lovely venue for a special wedding anniversary. Wrong. The first disappointment was the fact that we were (who knows why) not entitled to the complimentary three restaurant coupons (even though the site advertised that perk as being available with no caveats). Second 'got'cha was the 'oceanview cabin' that provided a disheartening view of a very dirty lifeboat - however, if you cocked your head a certain way and stood on a stool.. you could see what might have been an 'ocean.' Compared to other cruises, no assigned dinner table took away the opportunity of meeting other travelers and only one member of the restaurant staff made any effort at all to be helpful and pleasant - the others... well, they already had their gratuities... The entertainment... a magician performing tired old tricks and making a constant sales pitch for his media... entertainment?
Alaska cruises, Mexico cruises, Caribbean cruises ... have done them all and this was the most expensive and least pleasurable of any lines.
Cabin had 'lovely view' of a very dirty lifeboat.
