Chose this cruise as my niece wanted to visit the caribbean. It was good. The ship is huge and has all the activities RC is known for. Some disappointments - many to be expected when you consider the ship accomodates 6,400 of your closest friends - The same number of elevators as on smaller ships so waits were much longer. Same number of guest services representatives. Always a line. Same number of seats in the Windjammer so VERY difficult finding a seat. Alternative eating locations as always. Windjammer often out of plates and silverware due to the increased number of cruisers. Same size promenade with 2,000 more cruisers so always crowded. And the pools were like standing room only on many days. Fabulous shows as always. Starbucks on the ship - will take starbucks cards and give you points. Doesn't take the seapass. Great artwork, clean cabin, great events. Overall I really enjoyed the cruise but will try to go on smaller ships in the future as I think there is better overall access to crew, services and events. Again the excursions were a lot more complicated and less enjoyable as the size of the groups necessitated much longer waits.

Port & Shore Excursion Reviews

  • Horseback Riding
I've ridden around the world. The group size of approx. 60 meant waiting for 60 people to get mounted one at a time so the actual ride was cut short. Also the description was not clear about the food and drink at the site. I suggested breaking the group into thirds so only twenty or so doing any one activity; land trail ride, lunch and beach swim. Horses were thin but appeared healthy. All horses appeared to love the swim.

Short and seemed to be a different way to ask for tips. Some good info. Good native dance presentation but again lots of passing the hat.
