Great relaxing weekend cruise
Embarkation: Port Canaveral (Orlando)
Review of Majesty of the Seas 9/1/2017
We arrived at the terminal at 10:15, parked and had no luggage to drop off, so right into the port. That is the moment that I realized that I left my lanyards at home. Low and behold, they have all kinds of lanyards for sale now. Bought 4 Ohio State Buckeye Landyards , along with many other people!!!.. Got our sea pass, and were on the ship by 11:00.
Straight to the windjammer for lunch. Typical food, plenty of selection and good and hot. Spent the next few hours poolside until room was ready.
The ship is older, needs some work of which they always seemed to be painting. (smelled horrible).
Rooms ready at 1pm, dropped off our one bag, and back poolside. Not very many kids, but the ones that were there seemed to run the ship (especially late at night, knocking on doors.)
We had early dining.. food was typical, service average.
Didn’t More go to the show first night, but second night was a juggler, and the 3rd night was a foul mouth comedian. We left after 10 minutes.
Nassau was always the same. Got off long enough to get our passports stamped. We went back off at 10pm to get night photos of the ship, and as we were on deck one, 2 bohemian police were there, arresting a 20 something male. He had his luggage, and they walked him off in handcuffs. Also 2 girls never arrived back. Last seen at Senor Frogs.
We went to coco cay, and it’s as beautiful as ever. The pier is slowly being built. Saw lots of fish, sea cucumbers, jelly fish and iguanas.
Debarkation was a breeze. Off ship by 7:15am and home by 10.
The good, bad and different.
1. You can’t get ice cream yourself. There is a person serving it now.
3. Johnny Rockets is now $6.95
4. Towel animals are around the ship maps now
5. No chair hogs!
Loved the cruise! Less
