We chose this cruise for the destination and the dates. The ship was huge and had too many people on it especially at the pool. The pools were small and also filled with kids. Not that I don't like kids (I have kids too) but it was not a relaxing boat.
The reason for this review is dietary. I am medically gluten free and they were notified beforehand and I followed all the same measures I do on all the cruises I have been on. I have to say this was absolutely the worst food I have ever eaten in the last 11 years of my medical condition. I was sick the entire trip in the bathroom (If your Celiac you know what that means) I lost two pounds on a five-day trip! The last Royal Caribbean boat the Windjammer had its own buffet with all sorts of GF food and the restaurant was so accommodating. NOT THIS TIME. The staff was rude at the dining evenings and we had to find the chef at the Windjammer because nothing was marked, so we had to spend time hunting down the Chef then he had to walk us all around and then remember everything he said was GF. NOTHING was marked. The breakfast was the worst. Even though they had a GF area with some dry bread and they made crepes which were oily as ever...Any how, If your Gluten Free this is not your boat. The alcohol was great and the bartenders were amazing though I have to say that! I will never do a large boat again, it's not accommodating at all. More like herding cattle!
The cabin was pretty and updated modern and clean.
