Adventure of the Seas Cruise Review by cruizer2017
- Sail Date: August 2017
- Destination: Southern Caribbean
- Cabin Type: Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony
-Dining at the "Windjammer" in the morning was like a stampede, plus the noise of clashing dishes and silverware from the wait staff and mass amounts of people were very disappointing.
-Dinner at the main dining hall was great. The food could have been a little better, but the wait staff were outstanding.
-Shore excursions are always fun. However it seemed like all locations were selling the same products. Antigua and Barbados has the best beaches...georgeous.
-We stayed in a Balcony room with 3 people, comfortable size.
-Royal Caribbean charges for every single little item, water, lemonade, tips for everything, even though you are already charged a daily tip amount for every night of your stay.
-Nightly shows, included comedians, "vegas night", illusionist and the fun "disco night". Definitely entertaining, enjoyable and not overcrowded.
-Shopping on-board was very limited. We couldn't find sunscreen or lotion at the general store and off-shore they charged us $20 USD for a standard sized bottle.
I was expecting a pull-out couch, instead of it dropping down from above the twin beds.
I felt the room was smaller than expected, considering it was a balcony oceanview room.
Overall, the cabin was very functional.
