This is my 6th cruise and everyone has been great...except this one... Britannia Fjords
Good Points
-entertainment very good standard for a cruise ship
- ship decor nice and modern
-drinks very reasonable
-checkin/checkout excellent
-Fjords-- beautiful even with bad weather
-Gala evening enjoyed with complimentary drinks
-very clean ship.
-balcony cabin fine... however stayed in cabin G714 smelled like urine round toilet and shower , even after thorough clean the smell was there for 7 days mainly mornings and evenings.
Bad Points
-The rudiest staff i have ever met on a cruise ship... very rare you even got a smile.. not everyone but the majority (except for our cabin steward Mathew who was great)
- meals were ok... nothing outstanding, coffee disgusting. service at meals was again the worse customer service i have ever encountered, including the customer service downstairs.
-constantly trying to push drinks onto us from bar (on commission i was told)
We will not use brtiannia p&O ever again... felt like a cheap cruise with customer service to match. I wish I had someone tell me this information that i am sharing now before i booked because the complete lack of customer service really made me feel unwelcome.
- i could not even understand some of the staff due to poor english... however i could put up with that if they had a good atitude.
-Message to Britannia... 1)Put your staff on a customer services course.
2)send in some mystery shoppers and see for yourselfs how shamefull you have become.
Advice if you are reading.. book another cruise liner like Celebrity. Royal Carribbean or Princess all excellent ships with great customer service.
