We could not have asked for a better experience. Everything about the vessel was top-notch. Our cabin steward called us by name the first time he greeted us. Everything on board was spotless, polished, and gleaming. Our meals were even better than we expected, with a marvelous French chef preparing gourmet food three times a day. Wines were good, too.

Our excursions were wonderful, led by local experts, several American ex-pats who really knew their stuff.

Loved the free time in the small towns, where we could walk the streets, taste wine, visit the wonderful markets, and inhale what this area of France is all about. Being able to get out by ourselves is very important to us, and we certainly took advantage of this. Read more
