Cabin: French Balcony

We chose this cruise because we wanted to meet people from different parts of the world. The itinerary suited us as we stayed beforehand in Amsterdam and after in Budapest under our own arrangements. We used the flight value to upgrade and we enjoyed really good connections.

Our cabin was a french balcony, yes it was small but we were hardly in there. The ship is so large to have plenty of comfortable lounge room seating without being crowded.

The food was excellent quality and plenty of variety, we enjoyed a drinks package so we had a choice of wines. The main bar manager knew us so well after a few days, we hardly had to ask for drinks. The waiting staff were brilliant food getting to know you and your likes. The front office staff were also excellent, nothing was too much trouble. The on shore excursions were well planned and excellent local guides, they had various groups according to ability too so no one missed out and walked comfortably. we enjoyed on board music and lectures too so all tastes were covered.
