After spending 4 wonderful days in London at the Grosvenor Hotel, we made the trip from London and back to Heathrow via National Express buses and both trips were very punctual and an easy taxi ride to the cruise ship pier. The buses were very clean with wi fi and the driver assisted with the luggage.

We had a Sky Suite and dining was in Luminae. The menus (breakfast, dinner and lunch on sea days) and the service were excellent. The only items we ordered from the main dining room menu were the escargot (3 times), a shrimp cocktail and creme brûlée. Our waiter Tony and his assistant Ayu were both top notch. After day one they knew our drink preferences both during and after our meal and brought them to us without our having to ask.

The ports visited were very beautiful and although rain was forecast each day we only had rain in Bergen. However, a walk around Old Town viewing the church and shops, then a ride on the funicular followed by a visit to the Magic Ice Bar cheered us up.

Sky Suite 2

Cabin S2

Cabin 2123 is a Sky Suite which is located close to the aft elevators on level 12. Dining, casino, shops, and all activities located in the center of the ship were very easy to reach with the theatre being the most remote and even that was an easy walk due to the size of the ship. The cabin was well maintained and showed no signs of wear. There was some vibration on several nights of this 8 days cruise. Our butler Rudi was always there when

needed and upon our request on day one brought us a cheese, cracker and fruit plate each afternoon.

As suite guests we had access to Michaels Club but as we were 3 women friends traveling

together we didn't particularly care for the masculine ambiance of the club and after one

visit decided it wasn't for us.

Port Reviews

Bergen

It was raining heavily as we exited the ship. We decided not to do the HOHO bus and instead took a cab to St. Mary's Church which was the farthest point from the ship that we wanted to go. After visiting the church we walked around Old Town viewing the shops. The rain was very light at this point so we decided to ride the funicular on our pre-purchased tickets. The view from the top was spectacular. Next we cabbed it to the Magic Ice Bar where after donning gloves and a heavy cape we enjoyed the ice sculptures and had a drink. This was a really nice experience.
