The crew was exceptional in every respect. The fresh fruit was to die for. The specialty steak house was perfect. The usual staterooms were adequate if not too large. 165 feet was one with a balcony. The toilet entrance can't be used by anyone too fat. The shower was great. There is no cabin on the ship that is close to everything. If food is your thing, pick a cabin aft. If shows are for you, go forward. Three football fields long is a very long walk! The variety of foods is excellent. Don't drink the water in the buffet, because some people ignore the sign and jam their water bottles to come in contact with the spigot. The ship should, but does not, station a person near those dispensers to stop people from doing that. Virtually all the shows are only 45 minutes long. That was a bit disappointing, but the performers are energentic and work very hard. Many people brought very young children who were up and cranky late at night when they should have been asleep. If you require assistance on the ship or disembarking, it is there and excellent. Getting on the ship is another story. They don't provide wheelchairs until you have already checked it. That was the worst part of the entire voyage. In some cases, the entertainment you might like overlaps in different venues, making it a struggle to see and do everything you might like. If I could afford it, I would cruise regularly based on this experience - always a cruise that is touted as a leisure cruise, with food and drink available 24/7. The casino is smoking or I might have been there more.
Adequate but small, Toilet is not accessible if you are over 260 lbs or have a large girth. The bed was excellent and the cabin steward was outstanding.
NCL offers free transportation from the pier to the local area.
