We are longtime cruisers and while we first started cruising with Norwegian many years ago, we switched to Royal Caribbean and then Celebrity because we found the overall service on board to be a much better level. This cruise supported our decision to not cruise with Norwegian and we probably never will again.

We booked this cruise as a gift to our daughter, son-in-law and 2 grandsons (ages 8 & 11) and needed to depart from NYC where we live and the timing was good - just before school started so we booked on Norwegian.

The cabins were SMALL and the bathrooms were tiny. My 8 yr old grandson had a blast at the splash academy. Our 11 year old who is not the most social was ok with it but preferred to spend time with us and his parents especially in the evenings.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

Cabin BA

Cabin was small. Bed was very hard and did not have a comfortable nights sleep the entire week. The shower in the bathroom was a good size but at the expense of the rest of the bathroom which was tiny.
