Embarkation was easy, albeit a bit different compared to other cruises with us having to carry our luggage inside the terminal building ourselves. It wasn't much of a distance, so we didn't mind.
The ship decor is a bit over the top compared to the newer Carnival ships. The layout of this class of ship makes it easier to navigate, because you can walk the entire length of the ship on any deck.
Word of warning: guests will flock on Lido deck and occupy tables and chairs for hours on end during scenic parts of the cruise. This will make finding a table difficult, most notably at lunch time.
Very quiet. On previous cruises, we experienced creaks and noises from the walls and ceiling, but this cabin had no structural noises whatsoever. However, we did have neighbors who always let balcony door slam shut - starting at 6 AM. A simple courtesy would be to hold the door and let it close gently.
European guests take note: the standard 220 AC outlet has been replaced with an Australian type outlet.
Rented a car (Avis) and drove the Klondike Highway to Whitehorse and back.
