Cabin was as expected.
Had the queen size bed.Very comfortable.
Plenty of storage space.
All the amenities and a comfortable bath.

Blarney Castle,made it to the top to kiss the stone and had an awesome view of the grounds.
On to Fort Charles and was informed by our guide that six miles out in the bay the liner Lusitania was sunk bringing the US into WW1.

Our green hop on hop off was a great way to see the city.We first went to Trinity College where we had a great tour by a student and then into the Book of Kells and the Long room.Next it was up to Dublin castle
From the castle we then went to St.Patrick's
We also booked a dinner show with The Merry Ploughboys and had a great time watching the show and enjoying a great meal.

Very busy,long lines but another awesome cathedral.

Great tour with a student guide then on to view the Book of Kells.
This is not to missed,long lines but worth the wait.
After the Book its upstairs to walk the Long room of the library.

Patrick our driver gave us a very detailed trip thru the city.
Viewed the Peace wall,murals,jail and the gates that divide the city at night.
Also he showed us the Europa hotel which was the most bombed building in Belfast.

It is an awesome display of what mother nature can do.
The volcanic stones and pillars look like they belong on some lunar landscape.
Patrick told us of the legend of the giant Finn McCool who built the causeway in order to conquer Scotland.

This is a must see attraction.It gives a very detailed description from start to the sinking.Much is in the words of actual workers and survivors.
Make sure you see the actual slip where she was launched from and visit the Normmanic the last White star liner built..Plan at least 2 hours.

Just spent the day shopping then on to the Tattoo.More when I get to Edinburgh.

Greenock (Glasgow)

Roger our guide gave us a running commentary on the way out to the Loch.Once there he gave us a history of the castle and of course the legend of Nessie.
Told us that the Loch is long and narrow and is over a mile deep.
In 1989 an expedition using state of the art equipment came up with startling results showing that indeed something may in fact be there.

The castle is a site to see.Our guide gave us the amazing facts about the castle.
Viewed the Crown Jewels.
St Margret's chapel and many other sites.
Wear good walking shoes for there is much uneven ground.
Be prepared to climb stairs
There are bathrooms and gift shops on site.

Walked the Royal mile and had the chance to shop and grab a bite.
It is upward walk on uneven ground and be advised wear good walking shoes and be in pretty good health.

The Tattoo is a must see.
It only runs for three weeks so make sure you book during the running times.
This is drum and bugle corp on steroids and is awesome.
Bands and dancers,drumlines and drill teams from all over the world are invited and for this Tattoo well  over 1000 performers took part.
It is a must see event.
Only draw back was the long drive from Greenock.
Booked thru the ship and had nose bleed seats which was ok for us but a real problem for Seniors on the tour.
Again amust see attraction.

Long drive but well worth it.
Had an excellent guide and a great group so we were able to view all of what we were told we would see.
Notre Dame was awesome with the rose windows and even got to hear the bell.
Saw the site where Mary lost her head,Napoleons tomb,.Arc de Triumph,Champs- Elyse'es and many othe sites.
Had a great lunch at a street side cafe.

The ports of call and tours that we booked were all above expectation with the Tattoo being the highlight.He also went above and beyond on a few of our request.
