This Hawaïan cruise was supposed to be our romantic dream vacation for my wife and I. However, our vacation was ruined because of the location of our cabin (Stateroom). We were located in stateroom 4088 (mid-ship). There was an awful lot of noise coming from both above (from the 5th floor facilities) and below (from the machine rooms below our stateroom). We called twice to complain about the noise but nothing was done about it. The officer that came to our stateroom to investigate our complaints told us that the noise came from the ship's stabilizers which were more active when the sea was rougher. He never offered to help or to do anything to alleviate the situation. The Guest services personnel was also useless in that situation. They told us that nothing could be done because the ship was fully booked. Although we did not spend a lot of time in our stateroom, it would have been nice to benefit from a quiet room to take a nap in the afternoon or simply to sleep at night.

We found the cruise line personnel to be non-responsive to our complaints. Poor value for money in that cruise!
