Don't get me wrong , you won't have a bad time if you choose this cruise. The food was very good, the staff was great and the ship was clean but it might not be for you if you are in your 20-30s even 40s. My biggest complaints relate to customer service prior to embarking the ship which was really poor. I also found the Norwegian website and policies very misleading and won't be traveling with them anymore. If you've done other cruises before with other cruise lines you will most likely find the entertainment average, The Brat Pack and the Company Men were very cheesy shows...they are talented but the shows were just not for us. Maybe targeted to older audience? However, the after midnight show was really good. The comedians were also very PG....The ship is big but there is a lot of kids stuff that we didn't really care about such as an obstacle course and a water park / water slides. The water slides were fun but with the obstacle course that takes almost half of the top of the ship and there is less room for pools. There was one adult pool which was always uncomfortably full. The pool was also weirdly made...you either had water to your ankles and just sat there or you had water on top of your head and had to hang to a railing. I enjoy cigars while on vacation but the cigar lounge was not a cigar lounge it was just a small room full of cigarette smokers no nice couches or chairs like other cruise lines. In other words, if you are a couple between the ages of 20-40 and want something more adult...look elsewhere.
