Dining on the high seas is the signature feature of most all cruise lines. They extol the virtues of their pedigree chefs and drown us with photos of the most exotic dishes. For our part we all buy into this savory amenity...duh food man! Cruisers look forward to each dinner meal with a peculiar joie de vis. Are they serving lobster tonight? How about cherries jubilee? Prime rib? King salmon? Beef Wellington?

Now that we have many of you panting for such gourmet meals it is time for the hammer to fall. For decades we ranked Princess as one of our three favorite cruise lines. Celebrity has been and still remains our number one choice.

Having just returned from a Grand Princess 11-days cruise from San Francisco to Alaska we are chagrined to be the bearers of awful Princess news. Princess dining has sunk to a new low both in quality of food and food related policies. Can not help but conclude that this cruise offered us the worst dining and food related policies in our several decades of cruising.
