We chose this particular Viking cruise because seeing the "Baltic Region" and surrounding areas was on our TO SEE list. We had been on a river cruise in the past and loved the small, intimate feel of it. With around 900 guests, there was rarely a huge line or overcrowded feeling most anywhere on the ship.

Embarking on the Viking Sky was a breeze! We boarded, had lunch, then headed to our cabins. The cabins are lovely and relatively spacious with lots of storage space. The bed and pillows were comfortable.

We had the opportunity to have a meal at every venue. Make note that on the Viking Sky, there is fresh shrimp & crab legs plus a generous assortment of sushi served EVERY NIGHT in the buffet. The Asian night at the Chef's Table was a favorite. We ate at Manfredis three times once we discovered the ribeye steak. A-maz-ing! The restaurant had great service and good food. Order two lobsters when they're on the menu. It's not frowned upon!

Cabin Deluxe Veranda

Super quiet! You rarely heard a door slam or toilet flush!
