The ports were amazing. Cruising through the Hubbard Glacier was unbelievable. We learned so much about Alaskan and Native American history. LOVED the itinerary.

We've been on this class ship and love the size, layout and amenities. This was our first time in a Jr. Suite...and that was quite nice. We enjoyed the balcony often for site seeing.

The entertainment was excellent. The headliner apparently was one of the RC singers. However, he had appeared as the Phantom in Phantom of the Opera in London. He was amazing and his headliner show was one of the best we've seen.

Junior Suite

Bathroom with tub. Walk-in closet. King size bed. Three person couch, recliner chair, table, and credenza. The deck had 2 chairs, table and lounge. Very very nice!

Vancouver

Beautiful city for walking around. Take the ferry to Widby Island and enjoy the great little shops and the restaurants. Then, hope back on the ferry, head down toward the stadium, and walk back through Gaslight and Chinatown. Loved Vancouver!

Icy Strait

We took the shuttle into Hoonah. We went to the carving shed and watched a master carver carving a totem pole. He answered questions, told us about the design (which included the history of the Tlingit tribe). He was incredibly generous with his time.

We then walked down the street to another shop and talked with another local Native American, who shared more stories and background.

Then took the shuttle back towards the ship area and walked the Nature Trail - through a rainforest, then along the beach. Maybe a mile...but, one of the most picturesque, peaceful miles I've every walked.

When we got off the ship, we had donuts from the American Cross shed (they are small...a dozen is enough for two). Warm and wonderful.

And, a tour through the cannery (salmon) is a must. Fascinating!
