I chose this cruise because of the two day /overnight stay in Havana. It was a perfect first cruise to Cuba and a great taste of the island. We stayed in a balcony stateroom which in my opinion is a must. It is well worth the extra money on any ship.
Check-in was a breeze - you receive your Visa at that time and the daily schedule to peruse while you wait. Embarkation was very quick. They told us it would begin at noon, however we were seated in the Palace dining room for lunch by 11:30. I would definitely recommend skipping the buffet and going to the Palace for a relaxing lunch where you can get your first beautiful meal. Most people don't know that the Palace dining room is open and they "herd" straight for the buffet instead.
Quickly, because I don't want to give this review a negative tone, I'll describe the stateroom. It was the smallest balcony cabin I have ever seen. This was my first Norwegian cruise so I don't know if that's common in the cruise line or just the Sky. Also, the service for the cabin was not good. Enough said!
