We did the 4 night Sydney to Auckland cruise. We purchased a super cheap ticket and did not expect a lot for our money. We had an interior cabin and I expected the room to be super small and awful but was pleasantly surprised as it was more than adequate.

We paid for extras as and when we wanted them which made the trip more fun. Can recommend the café coffee and cake and it was worthwhile to pay $17 for a great Steak meal. Most of the staff were very pleasant and helpful - just one or two who were offhand. One word of warning for the people who like to play Pokies though. The machines are not regulated to Australian or New Zealand law which means they do not have a Return to Player percentage available to players. This is dangerous for the player.... Enjoy by all means but don't expect to get a pay out very often.

There are things that could have been better but for the price point we couldn't complain.

Cabin Review

Cabin inside

I thought the cabin was great. Much larger than I expected. Bed was large, Table and chair provided, even had a mini fridge. Bathroom was clean and had enough room and storage was very good. Hubby said it could have had a better larger TV but I didn't go onboard to watch Tv so I didn't care.

While there was no natural light this was an advantage after a serious late night, slept soundly until 2 pm the next day lol.
