I always think of cruising as a relaxing vacation but this was anything but with seven countries in 11 days. We loved it! The ship is beautiful, entertainment ok and the food excellent. On at sea days we found lots to do including time at the spa. The weather was too cool for using the pool but OK for sitting in the sun enjoying the huge screen TV with concerts, movies and photos. Be sure to be on deck at about 8 pm on the last night while going under the longest bridge in Europe.

Easy boarding and but then we did this on our own (Don't believe Princess as they tell you that the taxi wait can be 2 hours. 20 taxis parked next to the ship .) I do recommend staying an extra 3 nights in Copenhagen to see all the sights before starting the cruise. We used the hop on-off bus as part of our transportation which gives you 3 days of bus and an hour boat tour for $35. We stayed at the Comfort Hotel which includes free wifi and an awesome breakfast. The price was very reasonable as compared to many others - very high hotel prices during cruise season. Location is great - walk to Tivoli gardens, hop on-off bus, many restaurants, grocery store next door, walk to City hall and train station.

We used TJ Tours in Russia and Estonia. Highly recommend them! In Russia we toured in a very nice smaller bus with about 12 others while Princess tours have 40 plus. TJ prices were almost half that of Princess. Our tour guides in both cities were very knowledgeable and spoke perfect English. Wish I would have booked Helsinki and Stockholm with them too. Oslo we did on our own taking the harbor boat over to the museum island. Loved the Folk museum and they offer great free tours in English. We spent most of our shore time stopping in at all the smaller museums on this tiny island. In Stockholm be sure to visit the Vasa museum - huge old ship resurrected from the bottom of the harbor. Amazing! I on the Germany stop we used Friends of Dave tour after deciding not to spend 7 plus hours in-transit to and from Berlin. Some day I will see Berlin and there is so much to see in northern Germany. Our tour guide Christian grew up in the small town where the ship comes in and gave us lots of insight about the history and current life in the area. Best coffee and cake stop ever -- and included!
