This was my first time on a cruise, which I took with my daughter (her second time on a cruise). I found the boarding process to be quite easy and efficient. After boarding the Anthem, we were impressed with the cleanliness of the ship, fast elevators (except during morning and evening times), and courteous, attentive and professional staff. Our cabin was 10273 (Deck 10), which was comfortable, spacious enough for the both of us, and provided plenty of room to move around (I've heard about those small cabins). I chose the My Time dining option, which we were quite satisfied with. I especially appreciated the Windjammer, because of the multiple options for delicious dining, the great waitstaff, and late closing time. We also had an opportunity to eat at the Solarium Bistro, where I had a very quiet, tasty lobster dinner with champagne. On board activities were plentiful and numerous. However, at times, I was bored with some of the campy entertainment. I did enjoy Karaoke at the Music Hall, and playing Motown and Michael Jackson Trivia games in the Schooner Bar. My daughter enjoyed DJ Koolio, and we both enjoyed the Hush Party with the headphones. Please do more of this! Bermuda was beautiful and just a very lovely place to visit. My daughter took the Bermuda Triangle excursion, which was educational and interesting. We also visited Horseshoe Bay Beach (the best!), but were surprised at how reasonable it would have been to just take a local taxi, as opposed to the much more expensive option offered by RC. The second day, we did the Hamilton sightseeing and shopping trip. We realize that Bermuda is an expensive place, and planned accordingly. The people were friendly and helpful, and we walked around on our own to take in the local sites. Finally, on our last night, many of the activities were canceled or rescheduled due to the choppy water (Why would people be angry about this is beyond me). Nevertheless, we enjoyed the Bumper Cars, the Solarium, the food, and the staff. One little suggestion -- everywhere we looked, we were being sold something (even on the TV). I think that this should be eased up on. If I'm spending money on your cruise line, please ease up on the selling, just a bit. How nice to experience a leisurely breakfast before departing. I truly appreciated this experience and could not wait to share this with my friends and family. Next time, I'll upgrade my cabin, try a different destination, or maybe a different RC ship. Thanks for the memories!

Cabin Review

Interior Stateroom with Virtual Balcony

Cabin V5

Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable, We had plenty of room to move around, as well as closet space for both of our luggage to fit. The virtual balcony was a nice touch, but next time, I think I want the real thing! Our attendant was so incredibly friendly, helpful and professional. She left very creative designs made with the towels and washcloths every night. We began to try to figure out what was there before we entered. Thank you, D. for everything.
