This was our 6th NCL cruise and our 2nd to Alaska. We've cruised with others and prefer NCL because of their casual atmosphere and any time dining. There were teens on the cruise but they were well behaved and there were no screaming kids running up and down the hallways as we've seen on another cruise line.
The food was very good both at the dining room and buffet. I'd like to see more seating at the buffet but understand that some cruisers seemed to camp out there; possibly because the weather was not conducive to lounging at the pools.
The entertainment was top notch. Cirque de Bijou blew me away especially the finale set to Carl Orff's Carmina Burana. One thing I like is NCL now prints their TV movie schedule which is helpful when you get a rainy day or just want to chill.
The cabin was well laid out for a typical balcony cabin. Enough storage space and the bathroom was large enough to shower without feeling cramped. The balcony was comfortable and large enough for the two of us. The cabin steward was very attentive. I like the sign wheel NCL puts outside the cabin letting the steward know to make up the cabin, turn it down, etc.
