So there are ups and downs on this cruise. Our suite was very nice, big nicely laid out with a big tub overlooking the ocean. Your told not to bother to book dinner reservations online because your in a suite and therefore have "priority" That translates to :as long as you want to eat at 10pm....(who wants to eat at 10pm) We found that out on day one.

They also tell you that in a suite you have your "own" concierge and butler" What they mean is "your share on with all the other suites." Our concierge was unfriendly and not helpful. Our butler teresa was lovely but honestly we barely saw her.The food in the main rooms was average at best. Seemed the same every day. Cagneys was quite good as was teppanyaki and the italian place. Oh and did I mention the "champagne bar" does not serve champagne? They have one type of prosecco but have bottles of vueve sitting in ice buckets. I was told you have to eat in the french restaurant if you want to have that. Are you kidding me? It was the dumbest thing I ever heard.

The scenery was beautiful and we did do a couple excursions, the hydro boat in skagway being the best. My kids also liked the muskgee sled dog adventure. It is a lot of time at sea however so be prepared to be on the ship a lot.
