This was our first ever cruise, and after much research we decided to go with Celebrity...we weren`t disappointed. The cruise had a schedule of two days at sea, three days in Bermuda and then one final sea day.
The Summit is a wonderful ship and offered everything we`d hoped from the experience. The staff were first class - attentive, always polite and helpful. Food was brilliant, we ate in Ocean View cafe each morning and lunch. At night we ate in the main dining room with `Celebrity Select Dining`. We never had a bad meal, and the variety of food available, particularly in the evening was excellent. The New York Strip Sirloin was a particular favourite.
Our room was maintained to an impecable standard by our stateroom attendant, Rozario. I should also mention that our two waiters in the main dining room, Jayson and Tirta, were so friendly and welcoming. We very much enjoyed getting to know them across the week.
Surprisingly spacious for a basic inside stateroom. I thought the design of the room leaned towards very clever use of space. Some updating of the shower would be nice, however this is minor.
Lovely dockyard with very helpful staff.
