We had a wonderful cruise! My wife and I are seniors on our first cruise. The ship was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the itinerary was just what we wanted. The stateroom was small, but what can you expect onboard a ship! We had a window with a great view and more than adequate facilities. We loved our overall experience. The stateroom steward was friendly, helpful and became a friend. The food was excellent. There was a variety of options with buffets, sit-down dining and fine dining. We loved the specialty dining! The Teppanyaki grill was well worth the cost - excellent food prepared at your table by showmen of the highest caliber. The main dining area, the Summer Palace, was outstanding. It had a great view, an outstanding menu and friendly, helpful staff. The Garden Cafe offered a great variety of prepared foods from specialty menues to omelets and fruit, vegetables and sandwiches. The entertainment onboard shoulds meet all tastes. We loved the magician and the comedian. The aerial act was professional and one of the best shows we have seen. The variety show was also outstanding. The music in the lounges was great. We don't have enough superlatives to adequately express our contentment at having taken this particular cruise. We did 4 different excursions at ports and they were all enjoyable. We chose some of the less expensive excursions because of the level of activity involved. We were so impressed that we have pre-booked a family cruise with our kids and grandkids.

Like I said, the cabin was a little small, but what can you expect on a ship. We had more than enough space. The two individual beds were perfect for our needs and very comfortable. There was a nice desk with a hassock style stool. The bathroom was compact but had all necesary services and was well maintained. The steward was outstanding! The oceanview window was wonderful. We loved the accomodations.

Port Reviews

Seattle

Seattle is a busy town. Traffic was congested. There was a lot of activity in the port area.
