Nothing was left to chance...the passengers were wined, dined, entertained and attended to in a warm, professional manner by every crew member from the Captain down to the "behind the scenes" deck hands. Anything that could be done to enhance our cruise experience...on board ship or in port was done. Had us dreaming about that "Silversea around the world cruises".

Shore excursions were especially enriching. Local guides were extremely knowledgeable, and freely imparted their knowledge to those in their charge. Every attempt was made to maximize the onshore experience for the passenger. An example that stands out was the after hours tour of the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg. Not only was our tour group taken on a private tour of the museum in the evening after the museum had closed to the public, but as a piece de resistance, we were escorted into a large skylight Italian Hall in the museum and treated to a live 45 minute performance by the 30+ piece State Symphony Orchestra of St. Petersburg.
