We chose this cruise because it was a new ship and secondarily the itinerary. Not a great decision to select this ship because we were told by staff that they were still, "...working the bugs out of the ship." In our cabin we had no hot water for the first two days of the cruise. The worst part was arguing with the repair person that told us that the ship's hot water is set for 54c (130f) however the water in our room was 30c (85f) and we should be happy with that. The other concern we had was with food. The worst situation was with chicken served in the Atlantide Restaurant. It was extremely tough. The waiter apologized and blamed it on the fact that the chicken was precooked and reheated. They also pre-cook pasta and it is soft and not al dente the way it is served in Italy. Hopefully this is not an indication of a downward spiral of SilverSea's quality.
Beautiful cabin that just needed hot water.
