This was our first river cruise and it did not disappoint. We were met at Basel airport where we saw our luggage onto the coach and did not have to deal with it again as it was placed in our cabin ready for us.
Embarkation was seamless, being greeted with hot hand towels and welcome drink as soon as we stepped on board at midday.
As prewarned, our cabins were available from 3 pm, in the meantime we could sit in the Horizon lounge or up on the sun deck. A small buffet was served with free flowing wines, beers and soft drinks available.
Cabin Review
Spacious, light and airy with plenty of storage under the bed for suitcases, a reasonable amount of hangers in the wardrobe and a great ensuite shower.
The bed was comfortable and there was a pillow menu if so wished.
The electrically operated balcony window was great.
