This was my first cruise and I will try and cover everything as well as give some it"insider tips" My fiancé and I took a 3 day cruise to the Bahamas Nassau and coco cay. We flew into Orlando when we landed Royal Caribbean offers transit to and from the port $35 a person one way or 75 round trip a person, I recommend taking a Uber it's cheaper than the cabs and Royal Caribbean "we spent 50" each way and even got the same Uber driver. The drive itself to the port is about 45min-1hour. When we arrived at the terminal we were greeted with kind welcomes and smiles and our sea pass and instructions were given to us. Now that we got on the Majesty of the seas again we were greeted by the ships staff and offered specials, packages and shore excursions. You are allowed to board the ship around 10AM and the windjammer buffet was open to us. (You're not allowed in your room til 1) so keep that in mind. We didn't pack much just one backpack each and it seemed to be enough however we decided next time to bring a small rolling suitcase. Sorry about that time to get back on track the food at the windjammer is included for your whole trip and personally it was a hit or miss for me except the breakfast no complaints there. The lunch/dinner food was ok my girl thought it was all great Again for me it was a hit or miss. After eating we explored the ship and finally made it to our stateroom (number 2569 deck 2) was perfect one bed a small tv and bathroom with a safe. I had previously read reviews of people smelling sewer and having mold in their room. There was no mold and it was VERY clean we did get the sewer smell but it was unbearable we just closed the bathroom door and that seemed to do the trick. Our stateroom attendant was Gene he was one of the kindest and most attentive tenants he remembered my name and even let my girl in the room when I left my key in the casino (REMEMBER TO TIP) we had our gratitudes prepaid however Gene was unbelievable and I don't regret giving him more. After settling in we walked around and visited the casino. The casino is decent but could use a update but we found some decent slots and even won some money there are craps, blackjack and roulette tables. After the casino we decided to go to serinos pizza and eat (I'd avoid this place) for us the pizza was just so bland I don't think it had any pizza sauce just very doughy pizza we didn't finish our meal and just went to Jonny Rockets instead and this is where we met Jorge a very friendly and respectful waiter (if you have the opportunity to meet Jorge you are blessed) cannot speak more highly of him. for 13.50 for me and my girl and all you can eat (remember that ALL YOU CAN EAT FOR 6.50 a person check them out) after a wonderful experience there we went to the pool deck to watch guardians of the galaxy 2 and enjoyed some drinks. We then went to bed and arrived in Nassau. The next morning I went to cafe tudes for some coffee and the gentlemen behind the counter "don't recall his name" greeted me and was very helpful. We then went to the windjammer for breakfast and Ipwe thought it was perfect seething can be a little difficult so if you're traveling with a big family try and get there early to get some seats. When we docked in Nassau we had read many reviews saying that the tiki hut and beach were in walking distance of the pier we did not find that and ended up traveling with a family in a cab that took us to a beach the cabs are 4-5 dollars a person which was completely fair. Now that we made it to the beach we didn't want to check out Atlantis but next time we will (there is a casino in Atlantis) royal Caribbean closes their casino which I found a little odd but understood. Anyways we were on the beach and many locals will try and get you to buy stuff or get your hair braided. Ju st kindly say no you might have to say no numerous times but only because more than 4 people will come up to you asking if you want jet skis, unbrella or drink all day for $20 a person. We did the drink all day they give you a coconut with ice and about one shot of liquor but you can drink all day

I had about 5 and got a little buzz (Like I said there isn't much liquor in it but it's stronger than the Malibu and pinapple juice I got on the boat) after drinking and swimming we returned to the port and explored the shops prices can be a little high for some things but the locals will negotiate. I felt like the one guy I delt with thought I was trying to steal from him because I accidentally grabbed a bigger wooden piece than what we agreed on he snapped and said "you grabbed a small not a big one" I apologized and quickly grabbed the right one. When we got back on the ship we hit up jonny rockets again (We liked it a lot) and saw Jorge unfortunately this would be the last time we saw hkim as he had to leave must of been the end of his shift. Later that night we enjoyed dinner at the windjammer and a nice hot tub soak. Our last day in coco cay was amazing it's very hot there in august so bring sun tan lotion we did the jet ski and it was a blast it was a private island and so we were the only ship docked they take you on a smaller boat and it is about a 5min ride.

downfall to this trip was the disembarkation, the safety drill and finally the kids we were told before we left that we would have to be off the boat by 1PM however when I woke up at 7:30 people were scrambling to get their stuff we were told we had to be off the boat by 8:30AM so that was a little annoying. My girl and I noticed as we were standing in line to pay our bill and we literally heard a RC staff say "Get Off" I don't know if they were short on time or what but we were under the impression we had to be off at 1 (EVERYTHING IS CLOSED) so I recommend going to Grills great place to eat second downfall were the kids not all the kids were bad however the ones i ran into shouldn't have been alone or wondering around the ship I was waiting for a elevator on the 5th floor and when I got one the doors opened up and two kids (probably 10 or 12) looked at me made a weird noise and then one of them presided to put his hands on me (take it how you want) I don't feel a 12 year old should be touching anyone. I feel like the kids should be with their parents at all times or atleast be in the teen areas.
