Carly and I will be sailing on Equinox in Oct. but wanted to "preview" the cruise ship, and get Captains Club points. We enjoyed the cruise very much. The Food, Entertainment, and Staff were great. The Captain was rather reserved, not as outgoing and involved with cruisers like other Celebity Captains. We ate at the Tuscan specialty grill and were a little disapporinted, particularly with a $45 premium each. The server was attentive but we had a hard time understanding him. The food was excellent but we ordered too much food, primarily because we did not understand his recommendations. We had the Classic Beverage Package but were disappointed with the Classic selections. Rum, vodka, and scotch selections seemed fine but there was only one boubon, Jim Beam.

Intertainers were fantastic. Our room attendent was very attentive

Our first Celebrity cruise was on Century, second on Summitt in the Caribbean and our third was on Silhouette in the Med. All three had the Martini Bar. I like blue cheese stuffed olives in my martini and when I asked the bartender if he had them, he said "no but come back later" I had my olives for the rest of the cruises. NOT SO on my last two Celebrity cruises, Soltice and Equinox. Too much trouble. Unfortunately that seems to be a norm reac to special requests.

Cabin Review

Concierge Class 1

Cabin C1

The veranda cabin was fine. Other than suites, cruise ship cabins are relatively small but quite adequate. Our Attendent, Philipe (?), was great and always available No towel animals, though. LOL
