We were invited on this cruise for a good friends 50th birthday celebration. The carnival vista was a great ship, staff were pleasent and very helpful, drinks were strong and food was great. The Italian resturant was absolutly awesome and worth the extra $. The chef came out to each table and asked everyone what they thought of the new menu and all staff were great to deal with. The steak house was also great and worth the $, be prepared to take food back to your room as the servings are big and the desserts were great. The overall layout of the ship is good and flows well. I couldn't find anything to complain about, from the room, staff, food, entertainment, shore excursions etc were all great. The greastest shore excursion was the Save the Turtles experience in Cozumel, our grop of 13 dug into the sand on the beach 3 feet down and in total rescued 19 recently hatched sea turtles as well as all the shells from the ones that hatched the night before and made it out. We then got to walk them down to the waters edge and release them into the ocean, a very gradifying experience and the opportunity for my wife to scratch off something from her bucket list. Great experiece and cant wait for our next Carnival cruise.

Our balcony cabin was great, lots of room. lots of storage space, air condition was nice and frigid, washroom was bigger than we had antisipated and sitting out on the balcony with a morning coffee was a great way to start every morning and a glass of wine on the balcony at the end of the night was very tranquil. Our room stewart Jose was awesome, very helpfuland always smiling and kept our room in tip top shape from day one until we got off the boat!
