This was our first time to Alaska. We thought the ship was well maintained, clean and very enjoyable. We have been on several other cruises with other carriers, this was our first with NCL. They did a great job from beginning to end. Getting on was a breeze, getting to our room not hard. We had an inside cabin as we know we don't spend any time in the cabin except for sleep so why waste the money on a bigger room when the inside cabin was plenty big. The entertainment was excellent! We enjoyed all the different shows offered each night in the showroom. The food was excellent. We did not do any specialty dining since there was plenty of options for dining. We enjoyed our excursions completely and had a fun time in each port. Even though there was always a bit of rain, we were prepared with layers and not bothered by it. Zip Lining in Ketchikan was amazing! Mendenhall Glacier and the City Tour in Juneau gave us a well rounded feel for the town, and the train in Skagway was excellent! We took the train after debarkation to Anchorage, rented a car and drove as far as we could to see all the other towns. What a beautiful state! We wished we had stayed in Vancouver a day or two earlier to see it and we stayed a day and a half in Anchorage after and still didn't see it all. Our room steward Vince was VERY pleasant whenever we saw him. Always making sure we have everything we need. We found all the activities on the ship fun and engaging with other passengers. We can't wait to take another cruise with NCL.
The cabin was plenty big. Room for 4 easily with the couch and Pullman. Clean, well stocked, plenty of hangars and supplies.
Wow!!! What beautiful glaciers!
