I chose this cruise as a reunion with an old friend who has never cruised before. I felt that Princess has dropped the standard. This is my fifth cruise with them but never on such a big ship. Its way too big in my opinion. Also the service was not their usual standard. Theyve overcharged my account which I now have to try to rectify. I signed the account and paid on the last day - when I got home I noticed they have put through another charge for tours 3 days earlier (this was supposed to be charged to the other person in the cabin and now we have paid FOUR times!!! I know it wasnt the company's fault but we missed out on Mykonos due to high winds and spent the last night in Piraeus instead - Mykonos was to be the highlight of the tour. The meals in Symphony were average - not the usual excellent choices. The Horizon Court and Bistro were also average and their Italian night disappointing (very poor interpretation of Italian cuisine) The best was the Mongolian BBQ night.

I only chose ONE Princess tour due to the overpricing - everyone was saying what a ripoff.

Best to do your own thing or arrange your own shore excursions. Wi-fi was also a rip-off. Read more
