Nice trip. Older more mellow crowd. Some excursions waste of $$

We chose this cruise as the Panama Canal was on my dad's bucket list and we thought this would be a nice way to experience it. We had 14 family members. The ship itself was nice, and recently renovated. 11 days is too long for me with strictly free dining options. Though we did enjoy the lotus garden. Cagney's was lovely and we also enjoyed a family dinner at Tepenyaki.

Going through the canal was an incredible experience. We waited in a very long line the morning we arrived at the entrance to the locks and stood out on the front of the ship. My parents had actually booked an aft balcony and THIS was the way to go through the canal. Everything was up close and personal.

The Two Seas by railroad tour was way over priced and you didn't see much of anything on the train ride. I would not recommend this tour. We did Cave tubing and zip lining in Belize. This was a great day! Also the beach trip with Lunch included in Honduras was one of my favorite days.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Nice room and small balcony. Recently renovated. Decent size bathroom. I like the glass door to the shower.

Port Reviews

Cartagena (Colombia)

We paid 15 pp for a bus ride to the Old City and a couple other spots. Well worth the 15, but it was marketed by jewlery stores and we were shuffled from store to store until we realized we didn't really need to stay with that whole group.
