This was our second and probably last cruise with P and O and whilst we had fun the cruise and ship did not meet our expectations. We chose the Penthouse Suite at the back of the ship. Whilst the ship has been advertised as a newly refurbished ship it really is only the common areas that have been refurbished. Our room was a bit dated with its decor however we found the suite a great size and quite nice. Our cabin attendants were sweet but a bit hit and miss with towel animals only 2 night out of 7 and chocolates 3 out of the 7. I know its not much but its the little things that count. Having said that they did keep the room clean and stocked.

Unfortunately our cruise was very rough and being at the back of the ship we copped the full brunt of it and spent most of the first night avoiding being thrown around the cabin and out of bed. I wonder had the ship been newer whether the stabilisers would have been better at avoiding this rocking.

As suite guests I don't feel we got the same benefits that other cruise lines like Royal Caribbean and Celebrity offer despite the price being around the same. Yes we got priority boarding and dinner reservations however no free internet or concierge.
