We have taken Holland America and Disney to Alaska several times. This is not my favorite Holland American Cruise.. some great moments but the service was not as good as we had on the Westerdam 4 years ago and saw a lot of cuts in what was provided. Lincoln Center Stage was amazing with 4 lovely ladies playing strings and a great pianist and arranger. The Pinnacle Grill had good food but poor service. We had several times scheduled and cancelled after 2. The food was superb in all of the venues. The entertainment was average... a couple of good venues, but missed the intimate piano bar. Beautiful flower arrangements and ice sculptures were gone. Cabin steward was hit and miss... asked for ice each night, sometimes we got it. Missed one cleaning.. asked to keep fruit bowl full.. didn't happen.. and the room never seemed completely clean. Service in the dining room was good except for one area where we had to ask for everything 3 or 4 times. We just refused to eat in that area again.
