This cruise was all about going to Havana. We chose it because of the overnight in the city. That being said, this is our third time being on NCL Sky, once when it was Pride of Aloha, so we knew the ship. It is older, but well maintained. We took an inside cabin, 8352 which is very small, but you really do not spend much time in the cabin. Beware that there is only one 120 outlet, so if you have multiple devices to charge, bring a multi-charger or if you have a power adapter, there is a 220 plug.

Embarkation was a breeze. There were only three ships in port on Monday, so it was quiet. We arrived at our appointed time, 10:30 am, checked in, given a group number and waited for about an hour. Not bad as they did play some games for early boarding passes. Once on board, about 12:00 noon, there is a place to drop your carry on luggage until the rooms are ready. First time I have seen this and it was a great service. Our rooms were ready at 2 pm.

Disembarkation was also a breeze. We chose to do carry off, packed lightly. You may remain in your rooms until 9:15 am which is so much better than having to be clear of your room early and sit on the main decks until you number is called. So you can leave at anytime. Being that it was a Friday and only one other ship in port it was very easy to get Uber.
