Loved our initial Viking cruise. Chose this one from personal recommendation of others who took it previously. The length of time was great, just enough for a first time on a longship. Had wonderful experiences meeting others, making new friends. Accommodations were top-notch; service was impeccable. The included excursions were thorough, safe, and enjoyable, even though our weather was a bit brisk for April! We loved coming back to the ship where refreshments and comfort awaited us. The optional excursions we took were well worth the money - we enjoyed the extra experiences and were made to feel comfortable during all the trips ashore. The ship was clean, kept at a good temperature; the housekeeping services were excellent. Servers at all levels were polite, courteous, helpful, always with smiling faces. We loved the itinerary that took us into Budapest at night - breathtaking! We hope to take another Viking cruise again, taking along some friends to enjoy the experience!
