We have always cruised with rci and were looking forward to this cruise as well. from the moment we came on the ship, we were aware of the changes. from the unbelievably pushy staff for the first three days selling selling selling, to the worn stateroom (our attendant antonio was stellar)- including drawers with paint peeling on our clothing. "my time dining" was never on our time table, we always had to wait- even though we had a standing reservation. and at some point we stopped going to the dining room unless we had to- the food has gone way down in quality! they overcharged us for three things that we caught (and we are still on the ship as i write) so i would definitely keep every receipt if you are cruising! the final straw was that we had ordered luggage valet and they screwed up. i get that mistakes happen but when we called to say that they had made a mistake, "freddie" in guest services was like, 'sorry but what do you want me to do about it?" if we had not noticed it, we would have left tomorrow and our bags would have stayed behind. we would have flown home with no bags. and they didn't even have the courtesy to tell us when they knew that there was a problem!!! and, laughably, i had to ask them to refund the money that we paid for this service. horrible! we now have to go to an extra expense to travel twice to the airport and will not be able to attend a lunch that we had originally planned for. time to find another cruiseline!
