Navigator Cruise chosen on price and varied age of our party. Embarcation at Southampton was a hassle partly due to access gangway collapse. The cabin quality was good with the exception of the location of one of them overlooking the mall, which we eventually managed to change and was compensated. The Itinerary was limited and not helped by the Sunday docking at Le Havre which has no bus service to Honfleur that day. (The Ship charges over $50 dollars per head for that short trip). Food quality in the Windjammer was better than expected and were the portions in 'Fine Dining' despite the pretentious menu descriptions. Entertainment was generally mediocre compared to Celebrity and P & O and not enhanced by facile style of the cruise director. Exceptioins were the comedy acts, the classical trio, and the Ice Dance team. The cabin staff were efficient anf friendly and the restaurant staff not too ' OTT intrusive first name users' as found on some U.S. ships. Customer relations staff were hampered by long queues and were somewhat evasive even though they eventually managed to sort out our cabin problem.

Happy Clappy.

Cabin Review

Cabin 7283
On no account choose a promenade stateroom if you figure on resting before 1.00 am. Loudspeakers are situated outside the windows and the room fittings vibrate to the music.
