Chose this cruise for the itinerary. Party of seven. No children. Booked adjoining cabins on Baja Deck through Princess, including Princess Air and Princess Travel Protection.

Due to weather our connecting flight to Boston from Philadelphia was delayed. American Airlines got us on another flight.

In Copenhagen we waited for our luggage too long. Princess reps were sympathetic and helpful but should have been more watchful of the time. We filed a report of the missing/delayed luggage with an Iberia rep at the airport. This report is crucial to making any claim.

Cabin BB

The usual. Plenty of storage. A larger shower than most. Nice TV. Too few electrical outlets. Nice balcony. Love opening the balcony dividers when going with friends. Wish we could hear the captain in our cabin.

Port Reviews

Copenhagen

This is an embarkation/disembarkation port so there is not much time here. If you can, stay here for two days before or after. The city is great and easy to navigate on your own. We would recommend staying after the cruise but that is a personal choice.

Oslo

On our own, walking. Very nice. Great shopping. Visit the Ice Bar for an unusual experience. Tried to tour Parliament but have to reserve a time well in advance. Loved the Viking Museum. Take the ferry and go visit it. Watch the time, it closes around 5. Also, Munch Museum ("The Scream") is closed on Mondays, so we missed it.

Tallinn

Tallinn is beautiful and is easily walked. It has a great open air market in the town square, with surrounding places to drink and eat. We climbed the Town Hall Tower. Do not do this unless you are very nimble as the climb up and down the stairs, often uneven, narrow, and with varying height and a rope handrail, is very rigorous. Opt for the Dome Church climb, easier and nicer with a much better view.

Helsinki

Helsinki was just okay. We walked it. It's a long way from the where Regal docked to the heart of town. A couple of markets, one near city hall with local stuff and a flea market when walking from the ship. Took the "promenade" back to the ship, about an hour from downtown. Tip: very nice free bathrooms in City Hall and helpful information booth.
