Never had been to Paris before, wanted to experience Normandy & Monet Gardens. Previous cruise on Viking was excellent so we decided to take another. All arrangements were handled by the cruise line including air fair/arrangements and post hotel stay. They do everything first class. The ship was very new and the upkeep was excellent. The cabin size is what you might expect from most other cruise lines. The 3 meals a day have wonderful selections and can be prepared to your liking. The serving staff does everything to make sure you are well satisfied. The shore excursions are excellent and the guides are extremely knowledgeable and share with the guests much information at every point of interest. When you have a question regarding Viking you can always get a live person on the phone to help with all issues. My wife and I have already booked our 3rd Viking River Cruise and two other couples that we have recommended who have gone have been extremely satisfied.
