The staff were the best thing about this cruise, very friendly and enthusiastic. Although the ship was re-fitted, the paint on our balcony was more on the glass than the ironwork. Lucky we had 4 nights speciality dining where the food and service was excellent. The food in Edelweiss main dining room was very bland and tasteless, a view shared by many. The entertainment was a little holiday camp although the mime act received a deserved standing ovation. The bar staff work very hard but nothing is too much trouble my partner wanted alcohol free cocktails (mocktails) and they were happy to oblige. Bingo was a rip off , 300 people paying minimum $30, payouts totalled $1000 so they made minimum $8000 in less than an hour and they did this on 2 days - not very balanced. The solarium pool area was great as it was 'kids free'. The itinerary of stops were good, Dubrovnik, Kotor, Katakolon. We didn't get to Mykonos due to high winds stopping at Athens instead. To leave on a positive note it's the staff service that we enjoyed so much, they were superb.

Cabin D1

Well laid out and lots of little cupboards for everything. Kept very clean by our wonderful housekeeper, Ligia Fernandes, A***.
