Norwegian Star Review

Great Itinerary but cruise line a big disappointment!

Review for the Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Star

Never sailed with this cruise line before so thought we tried Norwegian. Majority of front counter staff members were unpleasant and unhelpful except for one. Understand the weather permitting reason for skipping a port but you would think that these things happen now and then and typically a cruise line would substitute a replacement port. Of course, had to stay another at sea on a 7-day cruise does not equate to value for money. Cruise staff was evasive and rude and provided poor excuses for not finding a replacement port which is probably the "cost" factor. Only after almost a full day and numerous complaints from other passengers, the cruise docked early at the next port. I have to say the only redeeming part is that we did have a great cabin staff "Ong" who was excellent in his attitude and service. Rest of the staff, particularly front counter folks, need more etiquette and customer service.
