We Have been to Europe several times on our own and wanted to experience a "guided tour". This was the best vacation ever, we expected first class and got exactly that in every way. The ship, our room, service on board, food, attention to detail, ships personnel and the guided "on shore" tours were beyond our expectations! On this particular cruise we choose to arrive a day earlier and stay one additional day so we did not experience airport transfers but can't imagine they would be any less efficient. The shore excursions were everything we wanted and more than expected. The guides provided were knowledgeable, very personable and conducted entertaining tours, we were not disappointed in any of the 12 provided or the 5 additional optional tours we scheduled.

We were so impressed with Viking we are doing another Viking River Cruise this year and will probably book more in the future.
